23 September, 2018. Chennai

The Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) and Sosaley today demonstrated a fully working version of the Automatic External Defibrillator to officials of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

The AED project is funded by DST and they wanted to understand the progress made in the product. Moving further on, DST is taking the next step of mass producing the product for installation across the country. The funding necessary for next phase has been released and Sosaley and MIT are going to work together to get AED into production mode. AED will most probably go into production before the end of 2019.
