Sosaley’s embedded hardware and software have been tried and tested in harsh environments.
We have worked with a wide variety of sensors including temperature, pressure, flow, voltage, current, gas, pollution, blood pressure, heartbeat, etc. In each case, we have worked hard to improve and perfect the accuracy of measurement time and again. We have used external agencies to test our systems and validate our findings.
In healthcare, our heartbeat sensing is so accurate that it uses the few milliseconds to deliver a life-saving electrical shock. In industrial automation, our sensing of solids, gas, and liquids have saved 1000s of dollars for its users. We have worked with specialized motors, understood and used hall-effect sensors.
In addition to using regular sensors, we have also learnt to use light and infrared beams, understand the interferences that occur and predict a number of parameters accurately. We are today working with international agencies to capture video of humans and understand demographics as well as the state of health of an individual. These will be used in advanced systems such as fatigue recognition.

We have worked with and perfected every kind of communication protocol you can think of – both wired and wireless.
In the wired systems, we have worked with and perfected serial communication, Modbus and every other protocol you can think of. In wireless, we have developed special routines to deliver guaranteed communication in GSM, WiFi, Bluetooth and other protocols. In Bluetooth, in particular, we have written special routines to ensure re-connectivity consistently.
We have tested and proven code that can use both push and pull methods to ensure data reaches where it should. We have developed proven encryption techniques that ensure data protection as well as data security.
Data can be sent to the cloud, another process, or to a smartphone. On the cloud, we manage multiple databases to keep current and critical data size small for instant response.
Once the data is captured, we have specialised routines that can process the data and take action in real time. Of course, some of the routines are client and industry-specific. The processes can create alerts, trigger a control process, or activate corrective steps immediately.
Control systems have been developed for client-specific requirements to manage motors, valves, and other control mechanisms. We have also developed smart routines and apps that generate alerts and enable manual intervention, where required.
In some cases, we have understood how a motor, for example, changes its functionality on the fly. From using energy to drive to using external force to generate energy, we have smartly switched the sensing and control methodology in a few microseconds.
Monitor & Manage
For some of our products, we have had to design and create new power systems from scratch. For example, for an AED we developed, we had to go back to the drawing board to design a new power system that could generate and store 1000V DC in a few seconds. We experimented with new capacitors and circuits to deliver results in small spaces.
We have learnt a lot from the development of the Battery Management System. These software and hardware components are today being used in a variety of products to inform the user of the need for battery replacement or charging.
