Gopal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication and an MBA in Operations Management. He has in-depth knowledge of process control for Design and Development in compliance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO13485:2003, IEC 62304, and ISO 14971.
Gopal has 16+ years of experience developing embedded product solutions in health care, access and control, display methodologies, communication, and other areas. He has in-depth knowledge of a wide range of 8/16/32 bit micro-controllers. He has worked on real-time environments in critical areas such as health care and industrial data acquisition and control.
Gopal specializes in testing including EMI/EMC testing as per IEC 60601-1-2 (specifically RE and RS and ESD), electrical testing as per IEC 60601-1 which includes battery operations, and medical related testing as per IEC 60601-1-8.
At Sosaley, Gopal primarily manages the development and enhancement of Battery Management System, Sosaley’s premier product under it’s IoT framework. He manages the complete life cycle of product development – from design to production. For BMS, Gopal has taken care of the complete feature list from data acquisition to posting on the cloud, integration to databases, report generation, and HMI. BMS’s complex communication protocols cover every mode of communication you can imagine. From Bluetooth to Wi-Fi, Gopal has been instrumental in perfecting the communication protocols and has created a framework that is used in other products.
Gopal manages a large team of embedded engineers, software developers, PCB designers, and UI specialists. He also works with logistics and infrastructure teams to ensure production is always just-in-time with minimal costs overruns.
