The first public meeting of Sosaley’s medical products team was an eye-opener. As part of a stall set up by DST/MIT in the Medicall July 2019 event in Chennai, we did a passive display of our Wireless ECG and AED products. The response we received at the event was overwhelming. We had a couple of people who were ready to place orders for our Wireless ECG in quantities of 500 and above. More encouraging, we had well-known doctors who identified the product as a critical part of their geriatric and critical care.
Encouraged by this response, we have decided to open our own stall and demonstrate the product in the upcoming Medicall Dec 2019 event in Mumbai. We will be demonstrating heartTarang™, the wireless ECG, along with our AED. In addition, we will also be displaying our capabilities as an end-to-end product and medical project solutions company.
heartTarang™
heartTarang™ is the answer to the need for a very compact, portable, and continuous (ambulatory) monitoring device of medical grade 12 lead ECG. The data is visualized on a mobile app. The data and reports can also be monitored remotely by the physician via IoT based servers. The data can also be stored in a cloud platform that we are offering as a service. Emergency response teams or even a person at home can use heartTarang™ and send information to the physician for better planning of necessary treatment.
Uses
heartTarang™ offers options of 3, 5, and 12 lead ECG. Based on the selection, the respective leads are monitored continuously in the app. The physician’s reviews and comments on the ECG can be obtained literally immediately. heartTarang™, along with our cloud-based applications, can also be used as a home healthcare monitor where the health indicators derived from ECG (called Cardiac Health Index) are shown as graphs for the user to better understand his cardiac health. The system will advise when you should get your family doctor’s opinion by sending the data and report to him.
Here are some possible use case scenarios:
- heartTarang™ can be given to heart patients and patients who have undergone cardiac procedures recently to monitor them and to reduce the number of visits to the hospital.
- heartTarang™ can be used by emergency response units and ambulances where it can acquire and send the data to the hospital/physician so than they can be prepared and ready for the treatment.
- heartTarang™ can also be used in home healthcare where the ECG can be monitored along with Cardiac Health Index and, if necessary, send data to the physician for advice.
